Intelligence engines

Know what changed in your world before your competitors do.

We build and run an engine that reads your domain for you, filters out the noise, and hands your team what matters. Three tiers, each sold on what it does for you. Start small with a 30-day pilot.

Three tiers, one promise each

Pick the promise, not the schedule.

Stem

From $500/mo

Keeps you current.

Weekly · one defined domain · up to about 15 sources

  • A weekly read of one defined domain: one agency, one market, or one competitor set
  • Up to about 15 sources, deduplicated, with a one-line summary per item
  • Delivered by email, Slack, or a page you own
  • A searchable archive of every past brief
  • Your first 30 days run as a pilot
  • A quarterly source tune-up

Best first step. Low commitment, fast to start.

Cortex

Most popular

From $2,000/mo

Catches what matters and enriches it.

Daily · two to three related domains · up to about 50 sources

  • Everything in Stem
  • A daily read across 2 to 3 related domains, up to about 50 sources
  • Relevance scoring and tagging
  • Enrichment on every item: who it involves, why it matters, and links to related past items
  • Same-day alerts on triggers you define, such as an award, a solicitation, a competitor move, or a key hire
  • A monthly trends summary
  • A dashboard with search and filters
  • Up to 10 users
  • A monthly 30-minute tuning call

Replaces the 20 to 40 hours a month someone on your team spends reading and summarizing.

Synapse

From $5,000/mo, custom

Tells you what to do about it.

Hourly or near real time · several domains, synthesized

  • Everything in Cortex
  • Hourly or near real time coverage of several domains, synthesized into one view
  • Recommended actions on priority items
  • A JMG analyst reviews anything high-stakes before it goes out
  • Custom briefs on request, about 2 a month
  • Integration with your CRM or internal tools
  • A quarterly executive briefing
  • Priority support
  • Unlimited users

Priced against the cost of a wrong call, not the cost of reading. Scoped with you on a call.

Every engine starts with a one-time build, scoped on a call. The monthly price covers running it.

How it works

Built once, then run every month.

  1. Step 01

    Scoping call.

We define your domain: the agencies, markets, competitors, or people you need watched, the sources that matter, and what counts as a signal.

  2. Step 02

    Build.

We build and tune your engine on a proven architecture, tailored to your domain. The build is a one-time fee quoted after the call. Its cost tracks your domain, not your company size.

  3. Step 03

    Pilot.

Your first 30 days are a pilot. You see real briefs and we tune sources and filters with you.

  4. Step 04

    Monthly run.

We run it, watch it, and keep it accurate. You get briefs where you already work, and we adjust as your priorities change.

A person stays in the loop. Judgment stays with your team, and on Synapse a JMG analyst reviews high-stakes items before they reach you.

Common questions

What people ask before they start.

What is the 30-day pilot?

Your first 30 days are a working pilot. You get real briefs on your domain and we tune the sources and filters with you. The pilot is billed at your tier's normal monthly rate, and if it isn't earning its place, you can stop at the end of it.

Why is the build a separate fee?

Every domain is different. Building the engine means choosing and connecting sources, defining what counts as a signal, and tuning the output to your voice. That work is quoted once, after a short scoping call. The monthly price covers running, monitoring, and tuning it.

How do I receive the briefs?

By email, in Slack, or on a page you own. Cortex adds a dashboard with search and filters, and Synapse can feed your CRM or internal tools.

Where does the information come from?

Public and licensed sources that matter in your field: agency sites, procurement and award data, news, filings, company announcements, and trade press. We agree the source list with you during scoping and review it regularly. If you have paid subscriptions or databases you want included, they stay in your name and at your cost, and you give us access; the monthly price does not cover them. If you need sources beyond the agreed list, we scope them first.

What do you mean by a “domain”?

A domain is one defined area you need watched. Examples: one federal agency, one market or region, or one set of competitors. Stem covers one domain. Cortex covers 2 to 3 related domains. Synapse covers several and pulls them into one view.

Can I upgrade later?

Yes. Most clients start on Stem and move up when they want daily coverage, alerts, or more users. Upgrading keeps your sources and archive. If the upgrade needs new sources or integrations, we scope that small piece of work first.

How do I cancel?

After the 30-day pilot, your engine runs month to month. Cancel any time with 30 days' notice. During the notice period you can ask for an export of your archive, and any page we host for you comes down at the end of it.
