A federal AI hiring event, engineered to convert.
For CATHEXIS's “Building the Future of Federal AI” session, JMG designed and shipped a self-hosted event landing page, a native registration flow that pre-qualifies cleared talent, and an automated email system — all inside their existing WordPress site.
The brief, in one screen.
CATHEXIS — a federal technology contractor headquartered in Tysons, VA — is scaling its AI Solutions Division and needed to fill cleared AI/ML and data-science roles fast. The vehicle: a one-hour virtual information session, and a digital experience good enough to make top engineers register.
Reach cleared engineers — without giving up control.
Federal AI hiring is a hard audience: the people CATHEXIS needed — cleared AI/ML engineers and data scientists — are scarce, skeptical, and quick to judge an employer by the quality of its digital front door.
An off-the-shelf event platform would have solved registration in an afternoon, but at a cost: generic branding, registrant data sitting in someone else's tool, deliverability outside CATHEXIS's control, and a candidate experience that looks like every other webinar. For a security-minded federal contractor, that trade-off doesn't work.
The event also needed to do double duty — not just collect names, but qualify them. Recruiting needed to know, up front, who holds an active clearance, which roles a candidate wants, and where they'd work, so a signup arrives as a screened lead rather than a raw email address.
One system, three moving parts.
Rather than bolt on a webinar tool, JMG built a small, self-contained event system that lives entirely inside CATHEXIS's site — so every pixel and every byte of registrant data stays on their infrastructure.
A landing page built to convert
Hero, event details, “why it matters,” a speaker line-up of CATHEXIS leaders, a clear session agenda, and a single insistent call to action — register.
A registration flow that screens
A native form capturing role interest, active clearance and level, and preferred work location — turning every signup into a pre-qualified recruiting lead.
Email that runs itself
Each submission fires two emails — an internal alert to recruiting and a registrant confirmation with the Teams link, meeting ID, passcode, and add-to-calendar built in.

The landing page
Above the fold: the promise, the essentials — date, time, location — and one action. Below it, the case for joining, the CATHEXIS leaders who'd be in the room, and a five-part agenda so a candidate knows exactly what the hour delivers.

The registration flow
A native, on-brand form — pill inputs, teal focus states, a coral submit — that goes beyond name and email to capture the qualifying details recruiting actually needs: roles of interest, active clearance and level, and preferred work location.

Confirmation & mobile
The moment someone registers, an automated confirmation lands in their inbox with the Teams join link, meeting ID and passcode, and one-tap add-to-calendar. The whole experience is fully responsive — most cleared candidates open a careers email on their phone first.

Delivered — and built to reuse.
The event system shipped complete, self-hosted, and on-brand, with no third-party dependencies to renew or leak data.
